Meet Phil!

Director & Head of Clinical Services

Philip is a UK-registered paramedic with over seven years’ experience working across emergency operations and primary care settings. He brings extensive frontline expertise in managing a wide range of clinical presentations, from time-critical emergencies to complex, community-based and long-term care. His clinical practice is grounded in patient-centred, compassionate care, with particular strength in navigating ethically complex and high-pressure situations.

Alongside operational practice, Philip is our Head of Clinical Services at Exodus Consultancy Services UK, where he provides strategic clinical leadership, governance oversight, and professional assurance across consultancy and educaitonal activities. His leadership responsibilities include clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management, and the development of safe, ethical, and evidence-based services. He works within the senior leadership team to ensure services meet regulatory requirements, reflect best practice, and align with organisational values.

Philip also works as a Clinical Educator, supporting the development of student paramedics and ambulance technicians across academic and practice-based environments. Drawing on extensive frontline experience, he provides structured supervision, mentorship, and professional guidance, with a strong emphasis on clinical reasoning, reflective practice, and professional accountability. He is passionate about developing confident, compassionate practitioners who are well prepared for the realities of modern pre-hospital and urgent care practice.

He has a strong professional and academic interest in end-of-life care, ethical decision-making, and interprofessional communication, particularly within pre-hospital and urgent care settings. His work reflects a commitment to dignity, professionalism, and continuous improvement, combining clinical experience with academic insight to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.

Outside of his professional roles, Philip values balance, creativity, and connection. He has a longstanding love for theatre and the performing arts, with a particular appreciation for live performance and storytelling. He enjoys exploring food and different cuisines, often through travel, and values the cultural and shared experiences these bring. At the heart of his personal life is his family, whose support and perspective shape his compassionate, reflective approach to both leadership and clinical practice.

Together, Philip’s clinical expertise, educational commitment, strategic leadership, and personal values underpin his work with Exodus Consultancy Services UK—ensuring care and consultancy services are delivered with integrity, humanity, and excellence.
