Self-Employed First Aid Instructor
Exodus Consultancy Services UK Ltd is seeking highly experienced, self-employed First
Aid Instructors to support the delivery of high-quality first aid training across York and the wider North Yorkshire region.
This is an excellent opportunity for confident, professional educators who are passionate
about teaching and maintaining exceptional training standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and compliant first aid training courses to a range of learners.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and environments.
- Maintain accurate course documentation and learner records.
- Represent Exodus Consultancy Services UK Ltd in a professional and approachable
manner. - Ensure all training meets current HSE and awarding body standards.
Requirements
Essential Requirements
• Extensive teaching and instructional experience
• Level 3 Certificate in Education and Training (or equivalent)
• A recognised First Aid at Work qualification (or higher)
• Strong communication, facilitation, and learner-engagement skills
• The ability to work independently and manage own workload
• Public liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
Desirable Requirements
• Experience delivering training in workplace, healthcare, or emergency services
settings
• Assessing and quality assurance experience
• Access to own training equipment (or partial resources)
